Sharing with Texture Tuesday and Sweet Shot Tuesday.
Today, I’m thinking of all those who have suffered the ravages of Hurricane Sandy, including the families of those on the HMCS Bounty. Wishing them comfort and courage in the days ahead.
I used Kim Klassen’s magic textures and French Kiss’s Craquelure to create the image above.
I couldn’t agree more!
Thank you, Ida.
Thanks, Pat.
With you on that, Diane.
Many thanks, Ana. Nice to see you featured on Indigo’s blog. Well deserved.
Maybe I will add it to the collection! Thanks.
Thanks!
It just sorta called for that…
Thanks for you BEautimous comment!
I miss the leaves….thanks for visiting…
Thanks Laurie. We fared quite well in comparison. Lucky. We have got to start taking climate change more seriously though!
Thank ya!
Appreciate that!
Many thanks!
That’s the most important thing of all. Thanks, Indigo.
What a send-off! This is lovely and perfect for the season.
Lovely image!
what a pretty image. I too hope everyone stays safe and that when the storm reaches your neck of the woods that is has lost its power. I’ve been sick since hearing about the sinking of the HMS Bounty and the loss of two lives. Such tragic times for families.
so beautiful. I love how you edited it and I believe it was already a great photo before you add the textures. congratulations 🙂 xxo
The textures are perfect on this image – it would make a beautiful thanksgiving day card!
love this gorgeous leaf and your application of texture. totally gives it an end of fall feel.
This is wonderful, I love how the texture gives it a desaturated, faded look!
exquisite and totally an end-of-October feel to it. this is one of those photos that makes me smile and BElieve it really is possible to create utter BEautimousness with simplicity and grace!!
How beautiful you’ve composed this image of the leaves…and how beautifully you’ve added the texture.
Here’s hoping you and everyone else in your region stays safe, Sherry – it sounds like Sandy will be roaring through your area in the next few days. I do hope it’s lost most of its ferocity by then and that all goes well.
Really lovely processing Sherry!
That’s a very cool shot. I love the editing.
Gorgeous!!
Perfect image for the end of October and I love the way you’ve transformed it with the textures. Joining you today, Sherry, in wishing that everyone stays safe while the hurricane rages.
