You can’t tell from this photo but it’s 43 F or 6 Celsius at our marina in Florida today. Thankfully, we have a good heater in the boat to keep us toasty and cosy. But, it’s a bit chilly compared to the nice balmy weather we had been having. But not bad at all, compared to the weather back home…
The sky is blue and the sun is shining though, and in this image, I caught it kissing the top of our 55-foot mast. We throw kisses back at it. The warmer weather will return…
Extraordinary light … even if it is 46F. (And I’m with you … that’s chilly.)
Arent we having the most craziest weather here in Florida? I have worn thermal pjs and woolen socks to bedโบ
Yes, the rain and the cold here are getting to me. Of course I don’t complain too loudly or I’ll raise the ire of my friends up north. ๐
Cool and loved the story behind this catch on a boat. ๐
True enough, Laurie! But it’s no hardship, and the temp is supposed to be high 70s by Tuesday. We were in Florida on our previous boat in 2010, which was one of the coldest winters on record…so we learned from that experience to be prepared. ๐
Hope it warms back up soon – I know you didn’t escape Ontario to get those kind of temperatures!
So true, so true, Viv. The sun restores…
Lovely so bright any sun even on a cold daybis wonderful….
Thanks so much, Marcie.
No, but we would certainly like to some day!
Beautiful! Have you ever docked in Beaufort, NC?
